Agile paractice guide
The Agile Practice Guide is a book that provides practical guidance for organizations and individuals who want to implement or improve their use of Agile methods in project management. It was jointly developed by the Agile Alliance and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
The book is designed to be a companion to the PMI’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), and it expands on the Agile-related content in that guide. The Agile Practice Guide covers a range of topics related to Agile project management, including:
Agile principles and values
Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
Agile roles and responsibilities
Agile planning and estimation techniques
Agile monitoring and control practices
Agile team dynamics and collaboration
Agile project artifacts and documentation
The Agile Practice Guide also includes case studies and examples of how Agile methods have been applied in real-world projects, as well as guidance on how to tailor Agile approaches to fit the specific needs of different organizations and project contexts.
Overall, the Agile Practice Guide is a valuable resource for anyone interested in using Agile methods in project management, whether they are new to Agile or have experience with it. It provides practical advice and guidance for implementing Agile practices effectively, and can help organizations to improve their project management processes and deliver better results.
